Next Day is a customer-facing web app built with a ReactJS front end and an ASP.NET and MS SQL Server back end, hosted on Google Cloud Platform with ChatGPT integration.

The Challenge
Next Day needed a customer-facing web application, a dedicated portal at its own customer subdomain where users could interact with the service directly in the browser. The platform had to feel responsive and simple for customers while running on a reliable, structured backend that could handle business data and grow with the service. Next Day also wanted to bring AI capabilities into the customer experience, so the application needed an architecture that could connect to a large language model cleanly and securely.
Our Approach
We treated the project as a full web application rather than a marketing site. We separated the system into a modern JavaScript front end and a robust server-side layer. This split let the customer interface stay fast and interactive while business logic, data handling and third-party integrations were managed on the server.
We integrated ChatGPT through the backend rather than calling it directly from the browser. This kept the AI layer controlled and made it possible to shape how it supports customers within the application. We hosted the whole system on Google Cloud Platform to give Next Day dependable infrastructure for a live, customer-facing service launched in 2026.
What We Built
- Customer portal at customer.nextday.services, the main entry point for Next Day's users
- ReactJS front end with an interactive, app-style interface that runs in the browser
- ASP.NET application layer that handles business logic and serves data to the front end
- ChatGPT integration, routed through the server, that adds AI-assisted functionality to the customer experience
- MS SQL Server database that stores and manages the platform's structured data
- Cloud deployment on GCP for hosting the live application

Technology
This stack suits a customer-facing web app that combines structured business data with AI features. ReactJS gives customers a fluid, component-based interface that can be extended as the product evolves. ASP.NET provides a mature, well-typed server framework for business rules, authentication flows and integrations. It also pairs naturally with MS SQL Server, a dependable relational database for transactional, structured records. Routing ChatGPT through the ASP.NET layer keeps API access secure and gives Next Day control over how AI is used inside the product. Google Cloud Platform ties these pieces together with scalable hosting, so the application can serve customers reliably as usage grows.
